The full ITPro Collection is used by hundreds of thousands
of technology professionals to increase their knowledge,
understanding and skills for immediate results. With the ITPro
collection, you get thousands of books, providing both broad and deep
coverage of over 100 different technology topics, making ITPro a must-have
resource for just-in-time learning. Premier industry publishers, such
as Wrox, McGraw-Hill, Microsoft Press, and many more, contribute front-list,
best selling, classic and niche titles. Popular book series, such as
The Complete Reference, Inside Out, Bibles and many others provide
multifaceted, multi-skilled approaches to topics.

The ITPro collections includes thousands of titles.
New content is added continuously to ensure currency
and coverage of developing topics. Browse a
listing of the current titles.

- Purchase a subscription to ITPro.
You will be brought to your bookshelf, with access to the full ITPro package.
- For subsequent sessions, just
log in with your
ACM web account username and password.
- Select "Enter Here" at the ACM online books program website. You will have
access to the full ITPro package.
- Choose your search options, browse, or go straight to your bookshelf to view books.

The online books program is available to all current ACM professional and student members.

Downloading books is not allowed. Due to publisher copyright requirements titles on any site powered by Books24x7, including the ACM partner site, are for online reference only.

Visit the Professional Development Centre and log in with your ACM web account username and password.

Access to ACM's Custom Collection of 395 volumes is unlimited for all ACM individual members.
Access to the ITPro Collection, with more than 3,000 volumes, is available for $249 USD per year for all ACM individual members.

The Books24x7® site uses cookies to maintain sessions;
the cookies expire when you log out or after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- If you return when you have an active session, you rejoin that session
and are positioned where you were last.
- If you return without a session (i.e., past the 30-minute timeout period) and
didn't explicitly log out last time, you start a new session and are positioned
where you were last.
It is good practice to always end your session by logging out from the
Books24x7® site.

The Books24x7® site uses cookies to maintain sessions;
the process runs as follows:
When you log in at https://pd.acm.org/books/login_books.cfm, we ensure that you are
a current ACM Member and direct you to the Books24x7® site.
If this is your first time visiting the Books24x7® site,
or if you logged out of your previous session at Books24x7®,
a cookie is sent to your machine to maintain your current session.
You must make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies to be stored locally.
Please follow the instructions to enable cookies in
Netscape or
IE. For
Opera, choose from the menu: File, Preferences, Privacy; check the "Enable Cookies"
box; set Normal cookies to "Automatically accept of cookies"; and Third Party to
"Accept from all servers".
The cookie is deleted once you follow the "Logout" link from the top navigation bar
at the Books24x7 site.
To correct the current problem:
- Delete all cookies;
- Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser; and,
- Log in again.
If the problem persists, please check whether your local firewall is blocking cookies.

Log in with your ACM web account username and password at the ACM PDC Safari® Books Online login page,
or at the book details page. To get to the book details page, choose among the Safari® Books Online titles by specialization.

The Safari® Books Online offered by ACM are available to all current ACM Professional Members only.
|

See an alphabetical listing or browse by interest.
You may also browse and search in the Safari® Books Online by logging in with your ACM
web account username and password at the ACM PDC Safari® Books Online
login page.

Once you've logged into the Safari® Books Online interface, you can look through
partial content of books. This preview mode allows you to decide if you'd like to add the
book to your bookshelf. To access the full online contents of a book, you must
first add the book to your bookshelf.
You are allowed to have ten (10) titles on your bookshelf at any given time. A title must
stay on your bookshelf for one month, after which time you may remove it and replace it
with a different title. Note that there is no limit to the number of books you can view
partially, outside of your bookshelf.

You can add notes and bookmarks to the books on your bookshelves, view
and re-run your recent searches and browse through your recently accessed content.

Access to the Safari® Books Online is unlimited for all ACM Professional Members.
|
| |
|
Copyright applies to all electronic content including electronic books. Safari Online Books monitor the use of their resources. In some cases of abuse, access can be revoked. Due to copyright restrictions, you can only email or print at the page level (not the chapter or section level), one page at a time.

Login Problems from the ACM PDC:
If you are having trouble logging in through the ACM PDC (because you've forgotten your
ACM Web Account login information, for example), please use the online resources to
reset your login information or contact acmhelp@acm.org for help.
